The activities of the mural conservation department of the OHIO CONSERVATION CENTER are highlighted here. The Ohio Conservation Center is operated by McKay Lodge Conservation Laboratory, Inc. The center is actively engaged in art conservation and in the restoration and preservation of murals or wall paintings. Located near Cleveland, Ohio, the center has evolved since its founding into a multidisciplinary organization with departments in paper conservation, paintings conservation, the conservation of murals, metals and sculpture conservation, and the conservation of historic fountains and monuments.
